There is so much stuff you can do. I spent a while just playing with Chop. I also spend time just exploring, doing mini games, customizing my character, side quests are plenty.

I would be so mad if my ps3 crapped out on me now as I'm also getting the ps4 and that is around the corner. I would have to find a cheap one for temporary use.

I think i'm gonna wait for any news about the PS4 and PC version of the game...even though my will is frail and will probably kneel before long.

Found this info elsewhere. Passing it along.

There is also an armored vest farther north on the Great Ocean Highway on the left in Paleto Bay. It is at the Paleto Sheriff's Office near the gun store. Go to the back of the sheriff's office and go around to the side with the dumpsters. It is on the ground next to a mattress. There is also a med kit on the back wall.

There is a crow bar further north down the Great Ocean Highway. It outside the building just north of the Clucking Bell Farms Factory. The building has a large bell painted on it. Look on the ground next to the red garage door with the dumpster and pallets.

There is a Molotov cocktail, across the Great Ocean Highway from Procopio Beach, on the ground between a small brick shed and a little rusted water tower. The building is in a farmer's field. The train tracks run right by the shed.

I'm hunting for more items. So far not much else except a gas can at gas stations.

that is insane, and will probably cause a price drop quickly with this game because pretty much everyone who wanted it (all 4839248903248093 people) got it yesterday, and it probably won't sell much the next few week. i'll probably snag it if it is like $30 for not for $60 cause i'm just not into gta much and did not like 4 at all. but the hype is getting to me. thankfully i'm on vacation till next wednesday so i can't even be tempted to get it!

and before you ask why i'm here on vacation, my wife is getting ready to go on a sunset cruise and since im a dude i got ready in 5 minutes.

I would say another round of Christmas sales is what's left in the tank. Then a second round with people trading it in for the PS4/XB1 version. I call this the George Lucas approach

I have the 360 version and I haven't noticed any problems with textures yet.

Here's the comparison people are talking about; tons of screenshots and a video which shows the small differences between versions. The Xbox 360 version has some blurry ground texture issues (which might be cleaned up in a patch), the PS3 version has slightly worse foliage/palm trees. Honestly, it's not something that you'd really ever notice outside of screenshot comparisons; the versions are virtually identical (which is more than can be said for GTA IV or RDR, so well done there Rock Star).

Yes, it has some bad textures, reminiscent of Rage, where everything looks great and yet a few textures would look like something from the original Quake.

Rockstar claims if you install the Play disc, you can have issues with textures, but I didn't install it, and get those bad textures. For example, I'll just be looking around, and little things like my characters shoes will look blurry and low-res while his jacket will be so crisp you can read the writing on it.

The pop-in is far worse though; you'll see the tops of trees floating in air three miles distant, and won't see the trunk 'pop-in' until you get much closer. Or on a pier, a sign will magically appear in front you 20 feet away.

But, the game is fun as hell; spent hours just roaming around and barely uncovered a small portion of the map.

That happens on the PS3 version as well, just FYI. There's very noticeable pop-up. It's not usually a problem unless you're really sensitive to that kind of thing, but it doesn't occur to the degree that something will pop-in before you have a chance to react to it.

The worst missions in this game are on par with the best from IV.
I'm still not sure how they pulled this off with such old consoles.
So many little details, such great characters, and it's just plain fun and there's so much to do.
Best of all - no more damn "Eastern European" voices and near constant calls. I loved GTA4, but Nikos voice grated on me, especially when he would yell.
