Your argument is meaningless since this game is built on the same engine, and running on the same consoles as GTA4 which came out in 2007, it's now 2013 and even a low-end 2012/2013 gaming pc can play GTA4 just fine.

We had a lot of the North team working on RDR and LA Noire, which allowed us to gain experience of other projects and how to solve problems and use them within the new game engine we've created for V
Nope I don't even think I will want to pre order. I could maybe find it on release day at a best buy around me. There are also plenty of gamestops where I live.
Yeah I don't want the limited edition. In fact since I'm getting a ps4 I doubt I will be using my ps3 any more with only one tv so I may just give my copy to my little brother.
Do any places still have pre-orders available for the PS3 special edition? I would prefer it on PS3, since everyone I know will have the PS3 edition and I doubt cross-console multiplayer will be included, but the only editions I can find for pre-order are the $150 bundle and I don't know if I can bring myself to spend that on a game. The special edition on the 360 is an option as well, but like I said, I'd prefer PS3.
The only place I found it was Walmart.com a week ago, but it appears they are even out. At this point you are SOL.
Are you guys downloading GTA V from PSN/Xbox live or getting a physical copy? Can't decide what to do...
I will get a ps4 so a digital copy on my ps3 would be no good as I only have one tv in the apartment. I didn't even pre order it yet. But I plan on picking it up on release day. Not sure if they are even still taking pre orders at all any more. If I miss out I'm sure I could find one copy at a store somewhere...either by my work or somewhere near home.
Based on what rockstar has done to prevent "early" release, i would guess if you want to play launch day your going to need to download.
That is a lot of open space. =( I am going to hate having to drive all the way up to the top from the city to do some silly mission; I just know I'll have to do it 100 times.
Dammit digital is so much more convenient, but I completely lose all resale value. :/
I just got around to really playing GTA IV this past weekend, and I really, really, really hope GTA V has much better car handling. It is like I'm driving a shopping cart in a hockey rink in that game. =(
I'm with you on this one. I understand that the car handling in GTA IV was designed to be more realistic, but it just wasn't as much fun. I would hope with GTA V having so much more off road and open environments, that they do go back to more of an arcade-style for the driving.
It wasn't realistic at all. It is awful. At least on PC, using the keyboard. The cars handled like shopping carts and if I touched the e-brake, became shopping carts on a frozen lake.
They need to go back to take a lesson from Saints Row and make the driving not completely retarded. Plus, if I rear end a car going full speed on a motorcycle, I shouldn't stay on it.
