Do you even own a GPU?

Anyway, I could cherry pick results too. There are many PCper results showing better frametimes on the 690, believe it or not. But, I have better things to do with my time and don't have time to post to 57 forums. The data is out there , i'm sure the OP can find it. That's not to say the Titan is bad by any means, but the multi gpu issues are definitely overstated here. And there are frametime results at TH and PCPer showing better frametimes on the 690. Take that as you will, you can believe or don't believe it, I really don't care. And I can't be bothered to post a million graphs.

There are no games where the 690 is more consistent/smooth. There are many games where the Titan is consistent and 690 is not...

Cry all you want, but many 690 owners bought Titan just for that. As for my hardware, thats none of your business. Cute that you google me

Cry more. That's a very intelligent comment. Anyway, i'll break my own rule and play your game for a moment.

If you want more, just ask. Or find a way to attack the credibility of PC Per. That's why I highly suspect you will do.

I`ll help him

When it comes to a consistent gameplay experience, the TITAN is head, shoulders and knees above its compatriots. The low standard deviation shown between frame times is a fraction of what other solutions offer, which in turn leads to significantly smoother onscreen performance. For example, the GTX 690 exhibits many of the issues normally associated with dual GPU cards like minor stuttering and outright frame hesitation, a situation the TITAN deftly avoids by virtue of being a single core solution. Gamers won’t have to wait for the latest SLI profile for optimal new game support either. So while the GTX 690 may outclass the TITAN in terms of raw framerate production, the GK110 clearly holds the edge this key area.

Please tell me, where on those graphs does the Titan do any worse than 690? The Titan is more consistent even in those graphs. Its not ms that counts as long as its below 40ms, its the smoothness of the line. Thats the whole debate about SLI/CF vs single GPU is about. Microstutter.

Talk about nitpicking. Atleast in the graphs I posted there was a difference. There was hardly any in yours (with advantage Titan...)

Chill out, both cards are great. I didn't want one member with SLI to go to war with someone who thinks that titan is better for actually playing games. People always defend their purchases. I was the exception

And yet you praised AMD cards in the past. Ironic none of them can play these games better than Titan.
Titan is - and i know you like overclocking - 50% faster than a 7970GHz when people overclock both. That is a generation leap over AMD
Not true. I can only get maybe 10% increase in frame-rates after Overclocking my Titan. Even if you don't OC 7970GE at all Titan still won't be 50% faster. I admit it was an idiotic purchase on my part. I'm definitely not going to buy a Titan Ultra even if it replaces the current Titan at 1000$ price point. I'm never going to drop that kind of money on a computer part, 1000$(actually 1300$ in my country) and the card rattles! I wanted a quiet card and I got a rattlesnake. For that price Quality Control should be top-notch and it is atrocious.

I think NV shouldn't at least lock down their flagship card, it cost so much that locking it down is downright greedy. How much of their sales does it consist? 0.1% if that much. It should be as robust as a tank but it stills looks like a good aftermarket mid-range card. It looks downright pathetic in comparison with ROG 7970 and cost 2x as much. We are already paying crazy stupid price for it, another 100$ wouldn't make a difference if they really need to keep their margins that crazy high.

Just for example.

Case in point, you can look at frametime comparisons between the Titan and the GTX 690 at various websites including PCPer. Aside from a couple of outliers, the 690 is always equal or better.
I had a look at the frame latency charts at PCPer, and I'm not sure how you've arrived at this conclusion. Average frame rates are better of course, but frame latency is worse on the 690. Not by a terrible amount, but there are clearly more spikes and greater bandwidth, which is in keeping with the other results I have seen.
