That's because they didn't benchmark a 275, they benchmarked 260 and 280 to estimate the 275.

some of those numbers don't make any sense. how could a 260 with lower clocks and fewer sp's be 6% faster than a 280, as they show in wic???

Well, is not the inquirer as a whole, is Charlie who's hold a grudge against nVidia, so every chance that he gets to bash them he will, but usually 70% of what he says is true, but he exaggerates a little. I found this link and is quite logical of what he's stating, like when he investigated about the bad bumps in the 84xx/8600 parts. http://www.theinquirer.net/inq...iewers-mythical-gt275s

well, there's only one way to find out. I must say, however, that it's good to see that charlie and nvidia have made up...
