So far, I'm not too bothered by the game being 6v6. The size of the map, number of the NPC, the agility and the speed of the pilots, and the chaos Titans can create all seems pretty balanced to me. If the game had, lets say, 10v10, the map will need to grow a fair amount, and I believe the Titans will not last long in the field. As someone mentioned before, the small teams do create matches where one team can totally dominate, as having a couple of noobs can really hurt a team.
I'm having tons of fun with the parkour aspect of the game, learning the map as I try to play Hardpoint, moving from one point to another. The speed of the game has been a blast, it really reminds me of Quake with off hand grappling hook or UT with the Translocator.
On the other hand, I totally suck controlling the Titan. I just chewed up way too fast, as the sense of superiority takes over and I get too aggressive most of the time.
There are some good discussion going on about old school vs new school FPS here, but I for one am glad things are progressing, even though I don't want to be PWNED by some kid with Gen3 tag already in Titanfall. (it hasn't been one week since release yet!) I know he is proud and all, but maybe I'm wishing for an option in the menu where I can just turn off the visibility of levels of each player.... heh.
