generation levels are gained by playing...not by winning. you can even make the different challenges of different weapons to level up faster.

Yesterday i played with a g3 and 4 and against a g2 and 5.... and i didnt see them playing that well

Just picked up CE for ~$49, thanks Mexico! Now after this massive download finishes, is the campaign the best place to start?

I did the campaign to unlock the extra titans and in the process you will get a feel for the game and gain a bunch of levels.

I enjoy the more tightly spaced maps

the more open maps are created to emphasize Titan gameplay, but the more tightly spaced maps make gameplay more dynamic imo

That's what I'm talking about right there. Lots of potential with the right map for all kinds of lines to take.

What are you guys running for graphics settings? Directed more towards multi-GPU users, or at least you guys with higher end cards.

I'm running it on 1080p 16x AA and 4x msaa. I have everything on high, the highest you can select. I can also do 8x msaa and I see no difference really. Maybe a little brighter that's all.

Yea I would say if it's something you don't get bored of quickly and you dont mind fps games it's worth it because it is a lot of fun.

I only played for one night (Final Fantasy 14 still has me by the balls), but my goodness is this game fun!

So chaotic, and the emphasis on movement is a definite step in the right direction!

I just looked into multi GPU and it looks like it's currently broken, and will be fixed in an upcoming patch. You know, EA standard operating procedure and all. Even though they're just the publisher, it's easy to blame them

Yeah, I´ll try turning down settings first, if that doesn´t help then I guess I´ll lower rez.

I thought 6v6 was going to be a problem for me (being used to Battlefield style map size and player count), but it's pretty cool. Time per match is also decent, which makes losses not sting too much. Like it so far :thumbsup:

Yea the 6v6 is not bad at all. It's actually alright and sometimes I do get distracted by the bots since they seem to group together.

SO much more fun with a controller. I just picked up MS' wireless adapter for $20 on Amazon and I was up and running without a single tweak instantly.

I'll tell you one thing, the TF community on the PC is LOADS better than XBL (I've been playing it on One since Friday - ugh).

Everything I've been reading suggests you need a utility (of which there are several - even a few that offer rumble support) in order to "trick" your system into thinking you have a 360 controller attached. It's not quite plug and play, but it doesn't seem convoluted, either. IMO, the DS4 is the best controller in the history of controllers evar, so I'm thinking of picking one up even though I no longer have a PS4. The 360 controller isn't bad, per se, but it's second rate for me after using a DS4 for Battlefield 4 for a couple months. The Xbox One controller has just about enough precision for Tetris. It's not even a possibility for me. The 360 controller on the PC version of Titanfall is loads better than the Xbox One version.

Yea there is a ds4 tool somewhere that does what you say. I know for dark souls on pc there is another tool you need to use that makes the Ds4 fully functional on that game. I think I'm getting them confused.

If I come across the articles I was reading I'll be sure to post them. If you Google "DualShock 4 Titanfall" you'll get the phonebook - tons of info. Anyway, I'll hook up with you on Origin.

I'll link to the app again when I get home. It ties into the xinput driver for windows to trick it into thinking you are using an Xbox 360 controller when you are using a dualshock 4 from a ps4. It even works with the touchpad for mouse curser control. Rumble functions as well.
