Alright ATOT, I'm back in Madison so I'm going to make an improved version of the target tracking tool. Its goal (for now at least) is to track player rankings in an attempt to determine which players are not advancing in rank, and therefore likely to be idle with credits not being spent.
This will be more accurate if the data is updated every tick. I am not going to be at my computer 24 hours a day, so if we make this a group effort (or someone with knowledge of automatically harvesting data from a site can automate this), then we'll have better results.
What I need is the entire listing of player rankings for every tick. I suppose the easiest way to do this would be to have people paste it right into this thread? I'm going to paste in this latest tick's data into this thread as an example. Hopefully I can get this pasted into excel easily for calculations.
Things that might be able to be added in the future include
- tracking of offense / defense ratings for players
- mapping of mhz and kbps to rankings based on ATOT player data
(I don't know how to efficiently automate these features, so I cannot implement them)
