Well Saturday right before the Hurricane (in FL) I had mine taken out. They actually took out three and left the other in there because it was under the gum and not causing any problems etc. I thought they would put me completely under, but they didn't, wtf? Also, I wanted my teeth but they wouldn't give them to me. They were lucky that I was sedated, or I would have snatched them and bitch-slapped everyone in the room, even the other patients and possibly myself (I wouldn't have felt it, I was numb). Ok, sorry I'm kind of getting silly and carried away...
Anyhow it really wasn't bad at all. I had a headache afterwards and that was the only time I felt crappy. They gave me a perscription for Vicatin err Hydrocodone which is somewhat the same I think and Penicillin. I go to the drug store and they say it might be till Monday... I open my bloody mouth and tell him that just won't do in a matter of words. That was enough and it seems he took me seriously, maybe he thought I might get pissed and spit it all over him? What the hell was he thinking anyway? It's right before a hurricane meaning that people might possibly not be able to get their meds until god knows when and they freakin want to say it might be monday (if they're even open, luckily though it turned and we are fine here where I am 30 miles north of Orlando approx, lucky me, no power loss this time).
Anyhow, pain hasn't been too bad. I was taking Motrin that I had left over for a while, hoping that I could sell these others and make some cash back towards my dental work but I haven't gotten any leads, so I started taking them... actually both seem to do pretty much the same. I was expecting something a little more like muscle relaxers (took them after a car accident in high school, was pretty funny when I took one at night and one in the morning, not realizing that it was a very short night and only a few hours apart, ha). I'm not a druggie and am not going to take more than necessary, but it's sometimes funny when you're supposed to be taking something and it makes you kind of screwy... as you may have figured now I am already feeling a little screwy, but I don't think its the drugs, I'm just in a screwy mood.
Umm, I guess I don't have anything meaningful to say. It was fun calling everyone on the phone afterwards when I could hardly speak and all. Oh, and I have some lovely pics that I took with my camera phone. The blood in the sink makes a nice phone wallpaper, ha. Anyone nasty enough to want to see my bloody grin?
Well, time to go take some more pennicillin (do you like pennicillin on your pizza [name that movie]).
