HAF front bay plug dilemma

I built my new system using Coolermaster 932 HAF. When I put a 5.25 device in the front bays, the filler retaining slots are left open and look unsightly. I contacted Coolermaster for advice, but they say there is no solution. Has anyone here found a way to fill these holes? Thank you.

Buy more drives? I have the first 4 filled, and on one of the fillers, I cut holes into them and mounted 2 thermometers. The last one I left the metal plate behind it and mounted an RF receiver for my remote and had the antenna (a wire) mounted through the holes of the last filler.

I don't know what you mean...is it because the bezels are an open grill, so you can see inside?

If so, and if there isn't a fan behind them, I would just tape a black backing to them (paper, cardboard whatever).

on my HAF I have a 120mm red antec trilool attached to the top three drive bays using screws, and under that I have my dvd drive. I'm considering making a plastic deflector thing to push the air coming in downward, so that it doesn't just immediately get sucked out the top vent/fan. I'm not actually too sure what the problem your describing is though tbh.

Btw, anyone know of a good way to light up the HAF a bit? My front is all glowing red, but the inside of the box is dark and I would like a bit of light to see whats going on in there. I don't want a mess of cables though which is what I got when I tried dual cold cathodes years ago.

Ahhh. The side holes for mounting the front plates. I just ignore those.

I went to many places looking and I think I will end up buying sime bulk quarter inch black rubber and cutting squares to fit. Got the new issue of Maximum PC today, and the HAF is on every other page. I can't believe Coolermaster doesn't have a solution.

The case does need more light.....can't see any of my goodies through the case window. I have never used cathode tubes but I may have to.....not much selection for LED-based fans of that size!

Ya, I wanna add more light as well, but I've used cold cathodes and frankly the cabling and stuff is a mess. I'm considering going with a LED array instead.

Oh lighting. I hated lighting (and still kinda do) because of the Antec 900. Really bright with no off switch. Kept me up at night. So I switched all the fans to Yate-Loons. But I hate to say it, but I installed my old cold-cathodes into my HAF just so I could see the flow in my tubes.

EDIT: I need to mod a switch for my cold-cathodes because all 7 expansion slots are taken in the back (4x Graphics, 1x USB, 1x SB X-FI, 1x Zalman Power Meter), and it used a bracket switch. But I got rid of the wire mess by sleeving all wires in my case.

UPDATE: This morning I went to a warehouse to buy some quarter inch rubber stock to make some plugs. It was a block from Coolermaster, so I stopped in. I spoke to the designer of the HAF, and he said they were making a solution available. I guess the phone support person was giving me a canned answer.
