I have wavy hair and I'd like to make it straight, so I can spike my hair more easily. Can a salon do this, and if so about how much should it cost and how long will it last?
I've looked onto these kinda of "treatments" (I hate my curly hair), but the main problem is that when it starts to grow again, the tip of the hair is stright, but the base is all curly ... not very nice :frown:
actually the part of my hair that is curly isn't the base it's the tips! I try to spike my hair but if it's longer than like 1.5", anything after that will curl over to the left.
EDIT: by the way if these treatments only straighten the hair that you currently have, then that sucks! because i get my hair cut to about 1" long and it adds another inch every month. I was hoping it like, penetrates into the hair fociles or something
i have had crazy hair for the last 3 years or so. I think that is the look you are going for. I just trained mine, now i have to do nothing to it at all.
try the home products first. you can do it yourself at home at a fractionn of the cost. if it doesnt work then go to a salon. just read the directions CAREFULLY!!!!!!!!!!!
you know what...my friend did it for me. i think it would be best to just go and look around for what's out there and if you're really not sure then go to a salon and ask...wait let me call her
. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .....ok not home. well just go to the market 'cause i know they have stuff there! good luck!
