Half-Life problem

Sup all,

I have a Dell Inspiron 8000 -- P3 600/ 256MB /20 GB /32MB ATI M4 Mobility . It is now running Win2K. From the time that I bought it has had no problem running Half-Life/CS/TFC/DoD, RA2 , AoE2....so on and so forth. Just recently though, I noticed that when I play Half-Life, or any of the mods made for it, it plays fine and all, except the camera seems to shift abruptly to the left/right/up/down. It shifts only when I'm moving forward/around. This just started happening a couple of days ago, almost the same time when I installed Realplayer. The game is running on the latest patch. Anyone have any ideas as to how fix this nagging problem? What's funky with it? Thanks all....

any help would greatly appreciated...playing as a sniper in TFC is a rather arduous task when the camera is jerking back and forth...

Check your mouse sensitivity setting and bring it towards the left hand side and see if this helps...it's under the controls tab on the game menu, don't remember if it's also under the advanced tab but look there if you don't find it right away.
