My setup has been working for almost a year now, and then the other day, after turning my computer off at night, it wouldn't turn on in the morning. I didn't test it then as I got my new setup in the mail, and in putting it together I found that when that one hard drive is plugged in, the system doesn't power up. The only life I could tell was that the CPU fan gave a little jolt and then nothing happens. The other hard drive is still fine. I've tried testing it with my new setup as well as the old that has always worked. It only fails to power up when that one is plugged in. I'm rather worried as a partition on it recently got corrupted and had to be reformated. It's a Maxtor 300 gig. One power supply is a 300W something or other and the other is a 650W coolmax.
