I've always been a good math student. I was on the math bee team in my Junior High. My team won 1st place in our district and I was 3rd place individually in district, and our team placed 4th in state.
I got done with the math classes my high school had to offer by 10th grade so I took Calculus 2 at a local University (St. Ambrose), and the Davenport school district paid my 3 credit tuition at the school ($2,000). I didn't study once and didn't do the homework, and passed with a B+. I took 2 years off from math classes after that, and when I got into Iowa State University I needed 2 more math classes for my Engineering Major, Calc3 and Diferential Equations...... With Calculus 3 I hit a wall... probably because I don't study, ever, also probably cause I only went to lecture/recitation once every other week.
