All math classes are basic enough from Calc1 to Linear Algebra ( which is also a walk in the park). The CS-Math classes are tough though. Formal Methods and Logic...WTF?...it's like Discrete Math but 150% harder...

My engineering math classes (difeq, 3 semesters of calc, linear algebra) weren't bad at all. Once you get above that, math starts to suck. I was going to take abstract algebra until I saw how messed up it was.

cal. 2 in college. it was hard as hell, I forgot what I learned. it was not as hard as organic chem.

Yes, the universal answer is Diff Eq and then Calc 2. For me, it wouldn't have even been close as I "got" proofs really easily (other things in Calc 2 were harder for me). Diff Eq sounds like it would have been a nightmare.

Diff-Eq was pretty easy. I'm thinking about taking partial diff-eq for fun xP.

Taking ap Calc in High School was a PITA for me. I just did ot understand it. Of course, i took Calc I in college and everything thing made sense.

I found Linear Algebra and DIff EQ to be a tough class. I also had a hard time waking up for it. but oddly enough i still ended up with a B in that class.

I got out of taking Calc I & II in Collage because of that . I only Need one more math course for my CS major.
