Anyone want to explain how Neville ended up with the Gryffindor sword? Unless I missed something I thought the goblin had it after they robbed the bank.

I just gotta say that Snape has to be one of my favorite characters in the book. To think he lived all of Harry's life dedicated to protecting him out of love for his Lilly.
Nice twist, and I was actually sad after he died.

Good question. That plot twist was completely unexplained and surprising!

In HBP, Tom Riddle references wanting to split his soul into seven pieces, and Dumbledore later confirms that Riddle did such by saying "The seventh part, no matter how maimed, still resides within Voldemort's body".
Cup.
Ring.
Locket.
Diary.
Diadem.
Harry.
Nagini.
Voldemort.
Eight? Hmmm.

Just finished reading the book. it was pretty alright for a childrens book. If they make a movie out of it, it would probably be incredibly corny like the 2nd movie.
Who's the new headmaster and minister.... blah. they didnt say

I give a B+. Needed more closure(longer explanation of loose ends to tie them all up).

Kingsley is the new (temporary) Minister, but I think you're right about no mention of the next headmaster.
According to Wikipedia, McGonagall was too old so they chose another.Originally posted by: z0mb13

would be easy to assume that the new headmaster is mcgonagall, right? after all she was the headmaster after dumbledore (before voldermort put snape as headmaster)

She did write it (or so the Wiki article said). I wish I could find it again.Originally posted by: lokiju

Unless the author wrote it, then it's all fake.

Yeah, for the end of a series, I would have liked more, but I guess thats what the encyclopedia is for.

This thread is going to go down in history as the least viewed thread due to fear of potential content. I bet even some mods won't look for fear of seeing who dies...
We don't have any 10 year old Mods.
Hey that's not fair, plenty of older people read the book, including me.
