Yeah, came out Tuesday on Video and DVD. Richard Gere, Helen Hunt, Liv Tyler, Shelley Long, Tara Reid, Kate Hudson, Laura Dern, and Farrah Fawcett are all in it.
Well, basically it's about Dr. T (Richard Gere) and all the women in his life. That's about it. He's an ob/gyn.
Uh, yeah, I guess that's about it. Not much a plot, huh?
Those last few minutes are something else, though. I know that it's an everyday occurance, but they actually showed it. My jaw dropped.... literally I still don't know if it was real or not!
Oh, yeah..... it's what looks like a "live birth." Nothing wrong with that, of course. That's all natural and stuff, but they just kinda throw it in at the last of the movie. Quite shocking, really. They show it all. And it totally looks real. But, again, surely it's not....
I regret to say, I saw the movie, I want my money back and Yakko's too for that matter. I could have happily lived my life to its end without graphically seeing the day to day goings on in an ob/gyn office.......
My gf dragged me there and has been apologizing ever since. Movie was overall dumb with very little to hold one's attention. The ending appeared to have been written by a mentally unstable third grader. Without spoiling too much let me just say that "Dr. T" drives into a tornado....A F-ING TORNADO!!
Anyway, Dr. T needs a boot to the head from Mr. T.
God that movie blew bigtime. OK the middle hour was good but the biggining and end was just horrible. I could have gone without seeing the last 15 minutes thanks you.
On second thought I could have gone without seeing the whole film. And I live in Dallas and know that mall that was in the first 15 minutes. Total BS woman do not dress like that here and I thought stereo-typing like that went out with the cancellation of "Dallas".
