Monoprice has a few different units for that, but they're not all that cheap. It also depends on whether you want to make sure you have access to HDR as the cheaper ones won't have that option.

Honestly I just want it to be able to support HD 1080p and if possible 4K as it just for a 2 tv that il use for casual watching and my basement ( not needing the hdmi via Ethernet ) will be direct to all my devices so i dont care as much for the others.

It looks like some of the cheaper options might work for you then. The only worry that I'd have is that some of the reviews don't look as good as I'd like. You can try looking for the same item on Amazon as Monoprice does sell some of their products there. I'd expect to possibly see more reviews if it's also listed on there. Unfortunately, while I've seen these products around, I've never used one. Although, I have certainly experienced the fun of trying to run longer cables... and for me, longer is only maybe 20 feet.

Thanks!! yea this is all new ground for me but i was told before we ventured into this house building stuff that Id want to run Ethernet instead of HDMI as the quality can diminish after 50ft approx and/or the cables can break as they don't bend as well. Problem being that i thought i was getting Cat6 but instead they just told me i'm getting Cat5 cables :-( but having 3 behind each TV because i was thinking internet/xbox/TV box through each Ethernet but i can just as easily keep it to just TV box and Internet if needed.

The dream is to have my TV box/Xbox/Mac mini ( Maybe ) all stored in the basement and then have the main floor and first floor TVs just run 1080p or more if possible without having the devices around them. Then the basement TV being fully kitted out with 4k and surround sound.

I have until Feb 2018 to figure this all out but hoping with Black Friday / Boxing day coming up that I can maybe save some money by getting it all now.

What kind of distances are you looking at? While passive HMDI can really become iffy when you get into cable lengths over 30 feet or so, active HDMI cables can go much longer (and they aren't as thick as the passive cables). Here's an example.

But if you're looking at over 100 feet, yes, you'd need to look at another solution (like the ethernet option).

Did you ever get this working? Also i don't think its available in Canada :-(

Yes, it works pretty well. I haven't noticed any video issues. Only problem is that I'm about at the end of the range of my ps4 controllers, they disconnect sometimes if you set them down.

Looks like it does 4k up to 115ft on 5e. I figured there was no way you didn't have 5e, and actually had just 5. Best of luck!
