So I have my computer connected to my surround sound system in the living room. In my room, I have the Logitech X-530 speakers, and the front right speaker has a headphone jack on it.
So whenever I need to play music in the living room, I just take out the X-530 wires out from my soundcard, and put in the Y-splitter that goes to my system. My question is, do I even need to do that, or can I simply put the Y-splitter into the headphone jack on the right speaker in my room. Would it be of lesser quality putting it through the headphone jack rather than the sound card?
