Headphones comparable to Shure SE110's

My SE100's recently bit the dust so I'm on the market for a new pair of headphones. I loved these headphones, especially for what I paid ($60). They had great overall sound, strong base, and fit great (I have kind of big ear canals, so the foam tip was great, and the behind the ear design is super comfortable). The only thing I didn't like is the cable. I live in WI and during the winter months the cable would get super stiff. If you guys could recommend some similar headphones to check out in the sub $100 range that would be awesome. At the moment I'm considering staying with Shure and dealing with the cable, but I'm for sure open to other brands. I had a pair of Sennheisers back in the day that I liked a lot too. Thanks!

some of the newer shure models have removable/replaceable cables, so you might want to give those a look.

My 110's had that I think. Where you could swap all but like 6 inches of the cable? I thought about that, but you still have to deal with some of that stiffness in the cold. Are all Shure's headphone cables made out of the same material?

hm, not sure if we're thinking about the same thing. the current se2xx and above have completely detachable cables.

not sure how the current cables are built but they're suppose to be improved over past models. the only shure i own is 2 generations old (e500) and was prone to having the cable material becoming brittle and cracking.

i use my ue triple.fi 10's mostly, but unfortunately they're only <$100 during the black friday sales.

Ohhh I see what you're saying now. Are there a lot of other options to replace the stock cable with though?

As for the Klipsch, I had a pair of s4's that I returned. The biggest inserts they came with were still too small for my ears, couldn't get a good seal.

You considered warrantying the Shures?

They even let you trade up to a newer model if it breaks and you're past warranty. Costs some, but you get a nice discount.
