I was looking into getting one of these heatsinks for my new setup.
It does not include a fan, so I was wondering, should I buy a fan to go with it? Is it necessary?
My new setup is a 2500+ and I plan to overclock it to 3200+...

Yes you do need a fan,DO NOT run without a fan.
unless you want to buy a new cpu when you order a fan....

Who needs a fan when the whole case is a big heatsink.
In case anybody wants to buy one it's a zalman case.

i would get a hsf. that unit will keep your chip a little warm even with a good fan for overclocking you will need a better hsf the thermaltake or zalman lines work fine in an oc environment.

This ASUS A7N8X nForce2 motherboard also has four holes around the AMD socket for those heatsinks that do not use the conventional mounting.
