HELP: cpu temperature monitoring program

I was wondering if there was a good program out there that would effectively monitor the temperature of my cpu. My motherboard doesn't have a temperature monitor. I'm curious as to what my cpu temp is when I'm under a little load.

dude that temp monitor program kinda sux IMO. i mean it installed a whole buncha other apps like that gator bullsh!t. anyway alot of mobos come with a cd that usually has a temp monitor app.

I got it and it didn't put anything else on my comp. Worked fine.
Aso if you want to put your system rig in your sig do it by going here My Anandtech
Then just link to it in your sig. Otherwise it just takes up a bunch of space on the boards with stuff no one really cares about.

MBM has never put any other software on my system (been using it for over a year). My only complaint is that it doesn't auto config for your mobo, but maybe thats not a reasonable request for freeware......

If your mobo really doesn't have built-in thermal diodes, then you have to get something like compunurse or digitaldoc (both hardware, a diode that's connected to an LCD screen for a 5.25" drive bay).

As far as I can tell, MBM5 is great, and doesn't include adware or spyware. Some other programs do, like all those filesharing programs. You can just have lavasoft's adaware take care of those things for you.

Hardware Monitor pro does a nice job..........it matches my bio's temps.

MBM5 does not install any other software but itself...I have been using MBM for quite a while...I have it on all my PC's and never once has it installed somthing like gator. Its easy to configure, and does a nice job...
