Help find 'trash'

I have a harddisk from my old computer in my current rig, I want to access the trash from the old harddrive in order to delete what's in there to free up more space, but when I searched the old harddrive, the right trash folder doesn't come up, anyone know how? thanks very much

Are you sure there is stuff in the trash? The recycle bin from all your hdds should show up in the same one, ie opening up the recycle bin from windows should load up the trash from all hdds. Test it out by making a new txt file on the hdd and then deleting it.

No, an operating system will only see its own recycle bin. The recycle bin he is trying to empty was put on the HDD by another OS. It will be a hidden, system file.

OP: You should be able to delete (note, delete the recycle bin folder, not empty it) it with Windows Explorer. It will be named $RECYCLE.BIN
