Help!!!! I need drivers!

I got this motherboard here that has built in video and sound, but can not find the drivers for it on the web at all. I dont know the manufacturer of the motherboard or anything. These are some numbers I found on it: 915-P5R2. It is a microATX motherboard with 3 PCI and 2 ISA. Any help would be appreciated.

Try the default drivers.

Plug in some basic stuff and fire it up. Look at what the POST screen says.

What default drivers? The video card detects as standard pci video card and the sound doesnt even detect.

what will the post screen tell me?

The POST screen will usually tell you who the manufacturer is or at least what you have for chipset.

Also look at the north and south bridge. You can get a model number. My guess is it's a SIS.

These drivers are for a friends system. They went and formatted the hard drive for no aparent reason and dont have any drivers cds, so i need these drivers very badly!

Seriously though check windrivers.com
they can help you identify the board and get drivers.

Use basic default drivers that come on your win disc. Load them in and see if they will at least get them working.
