Help!!! Lose Linux partitions

I installed COREL Linux and Windows 98 on my computer. I used Dos Fdisk to create disk c, and used Linux Fdisk to create disk e, f and g. Disk e and g were assigned to windows, and disk f was assigned to Linux. Several days ago my computer could not boot Linux and all disks created by Linux Fdisk were lost. I can only see the disk c now. These partitions even cannot be seen from dos Fdisk and Linux Fdisk. How can I restore the Linux partitions?

If neither Linux's or Win's fdisk progs can see the partitions I'm afraid you're SOL. An easy way to prevent this unfortunate business from happening again is to buy a HDD just for Linux. Multiple partitions on one drive for multiple OS's certainly works. However, a drive of one's own is even nicer. You don't need an 18 Gig drive for Linux. 4.3 Gigs works fine, for me anyway. And they're inexpensive, if you can find one. No matter, 6.4 Giggers are cheap, too.
