Many people start from newegg.com. But sometimes good deals pop up all over the place. So just keep lurking around here and you might find some good deals.

Try www.pricewatch.com for pricing, then head over to www.resellerratings.com and check out the vendors BEFORE you spend your money. Lots of people on this board like Newegg.com, but there really is no retailer that always has the lowest prices with no problems.
Do your research, is the best thing you can do. Asking people to do it for you really only gets you opinions, and you know.. everyone has one.

generally pricewatch is a good place to start, just keep an eye on the exorbitant shipping rates. I personally usually don't order from the cheap guys on pricewatch but it's a good indicator of market price.

Another vote for newegg here... i'd rather pay an extra dollar or two over the lowest on pricewatch and have it arrive fast and it good working condition as advertised. 2 bucks is cheap these days for peace of mind.
