Help me.. Which Celeron? Gxxx

Ok, about to buy a new cpu. Cant get an i5 right now, so going with an 1155 socket board that can upgrade later.

Budget < $100

Looking at:
G860, G850, G840, G630

Currently on an e5800. Using a gtx460 video card. Mostly minecraft.

Any thoughts?

Those are all Pentiums.

A G530 or G550 will do. They're $50/$60, respectively. They'll both be faster than your E5800. You can also find a G460 for about $35.

G530 and G550 are dual cores. The G530 is 2.4 GHz and the G550 is 2.6 GHz. The G460 is a single core with HyperThreading at 1.8 GHz.

There is also the G620, dual-core Pentium @ 2.6GHz, for a few dollars more than the G5xx.

Will I notice any difference in these?

G860, G850, G840, G630, G620, G530, G550

The G840 is on top here. In fact, it scored better than some i3s and i5s.

Just go with the G530. Best performance per dollar. ~$40 from ebay or superbiiz.com.
