I have two Gigabyte 686lx3 motherboards and have come accross two PII 400mhz cpu. The old ones are 233mhz. The motherboards don't recognize the new processor and the latest bios upgrade on the Gigabyte site also doesn't seem to fix this problem. I've read the book on the mobo and it says it should handle the processor just fine. Is there any jumper setting I'm not seeing? Any help is welcome Thanks
