HELP!!! PowerDVD and DVD Genie issues

I just got power DVD and t worked great. Awesome quality and it works well with the SBLive! enabling digital output to an eternal Dolby Digital decoder.

I also got DVD Genie and not being able to leave well enough alone had to go and try to force harware acceleration. Now Power DVD no longer works. As soon as I try to play a DVD it gives me a message saying:

DVD Error
Error Code: 8901000F
Internal error

If I click on the detailed button it says:
The error code is undefined.

Please help, I rerally want to get this working again ASAP


I have tried to uninstall and re-install PowerDVD and have gotten rid of DVD Genie but this does not solve the problem. Neither does re-installing the video drivers. Does anyone know of anything else that I can try short of re-installing Windows?

Uninstall and use regedit to remove all references to PowerDVD and Genie. Then reinstall.

I actually did try this and it did not work, but I did manage to resolve the issue eventually. The resolution was to go back into DVD Genie and change the region settings for power DVD. This did the trick. I find this whole problem REALLY strange.
