HELP! runtime error with hotmail

Hi guys, i need help, as im abit out of my depth on this one.
a good friend of mine was infected with a virus, and i removed it.
the virus was W32.Spybot.FCD.
part of the removal involved booting into safemode to run minimal services, and then editing the registery, removing refrences to a file that the virus uses.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa

# In the right pane, delete the value:

"MsWindows SysDate" = "sysmsvc.exe"

which i did. now when ever she goes into hotmail she gets a error message saying:
A Runtime Error has occoured.
Do you wish to debug?
Line:1
Error: syntax error
and then a prompt to press yes or no.
do any of you guys no what might now be missing, or what i may have done, or what may have caused this issue.
she relies very much on her hotmail account and i want to resolve this for her.
any help would be apppreciated.

only hotmail from whats shes told me!!

Well does she have any other browsers like firefox, also if she doesnt or wishes not to use it u can try going to
IE-tools-internet options-advanced tab, and check 'Disable Script Debugging' that might help (i think i had to do this once dont really remember but it might work) Also you can uncheck display runtime errors (dont know what would happen but mines uncheck)
