help with 6.1

I just today upgraded my 2.1 speaker set to a set of Creative 6700 6.1 speakers. i am enjoying them very much (black hawk down in 5.1 kicks ass) But how can i tell from the DVD case if the movie supports 6.1. I have an Audigy 2 which supports my 6.1's. I was thinkin of buying the new version of saving private ryan with the DTS sound, would this play in 6.1? If not can someone tell me some movies that do? and does DTS mean that the movie will play in 6.1? Please help as audio isn't my area of expertise.

Most audio is in 5.1 surround. There should be an option to emulate 6.1 in either you drivers or on the speakers.

you weren't actually experiencing 5.1 from your creative speakers. The creative speakers do NOT have a dolby digital decoder and therefore it's mock dolby digital.
