Help with Computer build please

hello everyone, i am new to this forum so nice to meet everyone =)
I am building a new comp and needed some help, so my friend recomended coming here since he has good experience with people here. (i don't know his username)

Well i have decided on these parts for my comp:
E6600 core 2 duo
Asus P5NE-SLi 650i motherboard
Evga 8800 GTS 640mb
hard-drive and (cd/dvd) drive from fry's prob

I cannot decide which ram would be good to get for my motherboard? my friend said the Corsair or OCZ brands are good, but i don't know specific ones, could u guys recommend some that are good, but at a good price
also i need a case, and don't know anything about them either, would u guyz also recomend a good case?

my budget is no more then $1100 or $1200

thnx for the help guys =), i really like those corsair rams, prob get the 4-4-4-12 timing ones, they would work with my motherboard no problem right? =)

now i just need suggestions on good cases, if not specific ones, could u name some companies that make good cases and i look into it my self =), thnx

As long as it's DDR2, the RAM should be fine.

Cases are fairly subjective, the one you listed sounds nice...at least it appears to be aluminum, although I've never heard of the brand. I'm not sure about the PSU in it at that price for both. The reviews sound good and if any of the fans are too loud you can buy quieter ones.
