Help with me Radeon AIW

I have an original radeon AIW. Recently I hooked up cable tv to it and it was working great. But soon whenever I would watch TV the program would crash. For instance if I watched TV and then surfed the web at the same time the video would get choppy and the sound would stutter, and if I didn't end the program through task manager I would eventually get a blue screen and it would say memory dump. Then I tried watching TV without surfing the web and the same type of crash happen. My first instinct was to upgrade the drivers, I am running win2k by the way, but that didn't do any good. So I really don't know what the problem is and it sucks cause I can't watch more than 10 minutes of TV before this happens, and I definitely can't watch TV while I do something else on the computer. I hope someone has some insight into my problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using it with a VIA chipset?

What Service Pack are you running?

Well kinda, I have a epox 8k7a, so its a 760 north bridge and via south bridge. I just installed sp3, I totally forgot about windows update, I haven't been in the computer loop of things for while, so hopefully sp3 will fix the problem, I will test it out and see what happens. Thanks for the suggestions.
