I've started a Seattle Mariner's fan site. www.sodo-mojo.com I want to add baseball statistical information such as individual player stats, team stats, and league stats, along with MLB schedule information. Does anybody know of a service (I'm willing to pay, but free is cool too) where I can upload stats into html format. Please help. Let me know what you think of the site. It?s definitely in alpha testing right now so please be gentle.

At first glance, looks really nice and clean. Keep up the good work, and a bump for more opinions.

Uhh, I don't think he's asking for opinions but I'm sure it'd help anyway. I think he needs some sort of service that would help him in uploading some sort of stats into a nice format.

Nice job with the site. I use MovableType myself and find that it creates a welcoming atmosphere for your visitors.

BUMP for more opinions.

I would be interested in finding out as well (for football, though, not baseball).

I had done some extraction stuff using perl to get data out of foxsports.com, but it is a pain if they keep changing their format and what not (plus, probably illegal).

Apparently, he uses MT too and doesnt give credit when he's supposed to... sorry, I wont help anyone that doesn't follow simple rules.

Q. Do I have to link back or give credit to Movable Type?
A. Yes. A button is included in the images folder of your installation package. You can also download a button from this location (Please host the image on your own server). While you are required to link back to movabletype.org, you are not required to use a button. A visible text link is sufficient.

My mistake, no it's there... looks like he messed up the CSS though, as when viewing it in NN (which I have to use at work) everything on the right side (calendar, recent entries, etc) isn't there.

EDIT: i'm good wif engrish (fixed grammatical errors)

Oh, anyways I really dont know what you're asking anyway... do you need a tool that will parse the info from a text file and put it into the website?

Intake77, which version of NN are you using? I've had probs w/ CSS on IE 5 for OSX doing the same thing w/ CSS sites.

Does anyone have a solution to the CSS problem that seems to creep on certain older browsers? Is it a compatibility issue with the browser or a problem with the CSS itself?

Oh and in st0ney's defense the link to MT is clearly credited at the bottom of the page. It pays to scroll down.
