I took a drug test last Tuesday for my job at Best Buy. It was a urine test and I think I might have passed it but I don't know. How long does it take for the results to come in? Should I have already been contacted by Best Buy? Any hope for the job?

Drug tests can take up to a week sometimes. Usually only takes a day or so. You can call and ask.

Personally I wouldn't want to buy anything from someone who thinks they MIGHT have passed a drug test tho....

Tests only take one or two days - my ex took one and heard back in the afternoon about it. Of course this is Worst Buy - they might just be being slow. But a week is long enough to have gotten the results. If you only "think" you might have passed it, I can assume that it's a possibility you failed it. The only way to be sure is to call Best Buy and ask, but if you don't hear in the next few days, I'd assume either you passed and they're not hiring you for some other reason or you failed.

I personally would not call and asked if I passed, this would have sent up some major red flags had a perspective employee done this...

Congratulations on getting the job, but dont tell anyone you were worried about failing..
