Am I the only one who thought this episode sucked? It didn't advance at all except for adding D.L to the mix.

Yeah, definitely a filler episode. Only surprise was Eden working with Horned Rim Glasses.

Having Horned Rim Glasses know about the "Save the Cheerleader" will be an interesting twist.

naw, I'll just bittorrent it in the meantime and hope for some reruns (like last sunday was it? the little marathon or whatever) and then rerecord it in HD. Hopefully they'll have fixed anything on their transmitting end, I'll have done my part as I know I'm due for a better antenna.

I just finished watching it on the west coast, in HD no less. DAMN! I love this episode. Some people say this is an alright episode, but I think it filled in a lot of clues. Yeah sure it centered around Niki and she's the only one w/o a real super power, but I adore her, so this is like the best episode I've seen so far. I didn't catch the part where she was knocked unconscious. I'm gonna d/l it and watch it again.

I really don't like nikki or her powers. Micah is annoying as hell. But maybe I just hate kid actors in general.
I am curious how the cheerleader's dad is planning on using the new info he got about future Hiro's message. I'm still not too keen on his role in the 'Heroes" world.

Yeah, the episode's pacing was really slow and not much came out of it.

Hmm... I'm wondering if she's actually a villian all along. I mean we all know she has her side that comes out when she doesn't know it, but I guess that's the whole point all along that she's not really a hero, but just a fellow "mutant" finding her place in the world. This was kinda hinted at between the conversation of Hiro and his friend after the deaths.

Yes. It was strongly suggested that they were not her biological parents. They probably work for his company/bureau/group/whatever. His comments when they were leaving then the mother's comments to Claire saying that they were so hard to find suggest that. He did it simply to placate her so she didn't dig too much and find out the truth is my guess. Hiro is really her father.
