Hollywood Plus Fuzziness

I'm totally clueless on this one. Whenever I play a DVD movie through my H+, I get random little dots on the screen - even when the movie's paused. They're not huge dots, they're maybe 2x1 pixel, and it kinda looks like a TV with a cheap antenna. The thing is, this only happens with DVD movies. MPEG-1 and 2 movies play fine. At first I thought it could be my drive (Hitachi GD-2000), but since the dots come up when the movie's paused, that idea went out the window. Suggestions would be appreciated much

are you sure it is the speakers. they are an out only device and should have no affect on the video unless they are too close to the monitor. this should really have no affect but you never know. try a different set of speakers or degaussing your screen.

Could be a bad passthrough cabel, but I would lean more tawords something else

make sure the card is not sharing an IRQ,
try upgraing the drivers, and the video application
