Why do people always rag on people who watch star trek? I know nothing about the show, but it was just a hypothetical question. Is it any more geeky than people who watch crap like Friends and ask questions relating to that show? How come no one gives crap to those sad people who went to Friends conventions to watch the final show?
Oh...that's right. Friends is seen as "cool".
And I'm sorry, but everyone that posts in this forum is a geek. Deal with it. No point in calling someone else one.
I don't watch Friends. Actually, I don't have a tv. And I'm worse than a geek - I'm a wannabe geek (all the net culture and none of the tech knowhow. ) I was totally teasing anyway. It's completely apparent that nearly 8,000 posts gives me no right to make fun of someone for "geek" tendencies. So chill!
I wasn't really aiming it at you. Just people in general who gives trekkies a hard time for liking a TV show. Just because the guy likes trek doesn't mean he's some 48 year old mothers boy who has sex with his blow up Dr Spock doll. Or that he hasn't seen the sun in five years.
