OK, here are my specs

Athlon 64 3000+ (regular temp is 48C)
Soltek SL-K8AN2E-GR
OCZ 512(256 x2) platinum DDR400 optimized for dual channel
Radeon 9500pro
Antec case with 350PS

-Well it all started when I decided to change the memory timings to the ones advertised(previously set on auto), which is 2-2-2-5 although on the ram, a sticker right beside it says 2-3-2-5, I went and changed it to 2-2-2-5 and changed the Hypertransport to (previously 4x)5x which would bring it to 1k HT.

saved the settings and from there, it hanged sort of speak, nothing was on screen, reset and turned PC on and off and still no vid show up(its not the GPU cause I checked with my previous one). So what could be the possible problem? did I overheat my CPU by swithcing to the 1k hypertransport? or did my Ram went awry? I did not switch increase voltages at all and system bios is cacheble(enabled), I hope someone has a solution so I can RMA the parts broken. I'm gonna turn on the PC again 2morrow see if maybe its a heating problem and it might have cooled then, hopefully, I can get some replies on and advice on this thread cause I'm now going to work. Please someone help me with this problem, this PC has been sort of a pain since I built it, its fast but OS keeps going to blue screen ramdomly and restart and now this.

Unplug the computer, remove the CMOS battery, clear the CMOS using the jumper (see your manual), replace battery, plug computer in. Hold breath. Push power button and see if the fates smile upon you

I see, knew it had to come to something drastic like that, damn. Anyway, is there anyway for it to load other than that? I realize my mistake is that nforce3 250b is only 800hz HT and its VIA thats 1000hz, damn my ignorance. The cmos battery is the shiny lithium battery correct? and the jumpers, I'll have to look into it, damn board is kinda small so looking and configuring those jumpers will be a pain in the neck. Thanks though, hopefully faith does smile upon me, is there any other way? if this doesn't work however, am I gonna RMA the Mobo or the CPU?

any other takers to this problem? please anyone? I came to anandtech knowing there are far more knowledgeable people here than other places.

There is no need or cause to RMA anything.

They aren't broken. They are set to try to run too fast. Do as mechBgon suggests and remove the battery (yes, it looks just like a silver circular watch battery). Leave it out for a few minutes and then put it back in. Try to turn the computer on. It should all come right back up again.

Or there's a jumper on the board, I think it's yellow on the Solteks, and is at the bottom on the left hand side, just below the SATA IDE ports on the bottom. Just change it's position, wait about 30 seconds, change it back, vaola.
