holy crap......urgent computer help....

very very urgent.....I tried to format my pc, and use the recovery CD, but after it deleted everything and all that stuff, it said that the recovery failed. it asked me to either "try again," or just turn the pc off. when I tried again, it gave me a black screen w/ this informatin, and it is nown ot doing anytyhing....just sitting there:

ok, now what does this mean? and why won't my computer let me reformat and start over??

this is on a toshiba TE2100 on win xp pro......

so now, i can't use my pc at all!

can you boot to the xp pro cd? you can always format that way and do a fresh install.

it's trying to boot via network, change the boot order...

well, my toshiba laptop only came w/ the 2 recovery CD's.......it didn't come w/ an xp pro CD....if that is what you mean.

I already changed the boot order to Cd rom first.....so it is CD rom --> LAN --->FDD--> HDD.

either that or, cd rom ---> LAN ----> HDD ---> HDD

still smae problems............

so what is wrong??
