There's about 26ms of delay between the mains and the bass horns. I don't see anything to delay the mains so that the sound arrives at the listening positioning at the same time...

Ugh the hair trick. Well duh anyone's hair will do that if someone is dumb enough to put their head in the vent of a large box. That's all those car systems are is a speaker box with seats. (insert Martin Lawrence words about dick going down the road with two balls side by side! :laugh: ) Either way horrid bass quality, far from the actual performance but if people want it to shake their nuts that kind of sums it up about the typical male preoccupation with size now.

The rotary woofer design is ok but already outclassed and (soon to be!) obsolete. It makes noise on its own which a lot of people are upset over. The price isn't a factor as most obsessed audiophiles put worries about cost in last place. In the video posted you can see the motor moving on its mounts. That is very bad - it clearly needs to be braced better. This is the equivalent of an inadequately braced conventional speaker box. Emissions from flexing panels are out of phase with the diaphragm or in this case the movement is probably reducing output at the lowest levels where it would be most needed. At single digit frequencies distortion is going to be hard to hear unless it is at the half century mark. :Q

That's a noise maker not an instrument for re-creating a wave.

If I wanted to make something LOUD and blow up - a small charge inside a barrel of flour inside the vehicle would be nice. Flash boom to expand the dust and then kaboom! Should easily be 185dB+ inside just before the pillars collapse and the windows push out. A few streak cameras running at 5000 fps to capture it would be fun.

I'm sure CHP would be willing to donate a ricer impound for good cause.
