I agree completely with this. I don't see him in this part.I think the show looks good and has great potential but I can't get over the lead, Damian Lewis. I completely disagree with the OP.
Lewis looks like a grown up kid. I don't mean that obvious, that all adults were children once. What I mean is he literally looks like a 16 year old ginger that's in a bigger body. He is completely not convincing as some mastermind hidden Al Qaeda operative who's going to pull off some major attack.
I would definitely stand in for him.The Brody character is definitely intriguing. I think Damian Lewis does a pretty good job though and I think the role was cast well.
The Brody sex scenes are oh-so-awkward.
Awesome ep tonight.
I'm not too worried about it, I'm sure they'll keep it interesting.yep but nowI'm not as interestedthat it's not Brody

Yeah. There's still the issue ofDon't assume this is 100% the case.
Is the show really that good?
I know that Anandtech has some harsh critics but if you guys are saying this is good then I am Sold!

Well, I was just about to bail on this series when the last episode pulled me back in. I hope the latest developments create a better storyline. Too many characters becoming cartoonish (daughter, boss, etc.) and some of the dialog is laughable.
The Brody sex scene with the wife was beyond unbearable, but the ones with Carrie are not nearly as bad. He's just an awkward dude.I'm really loving this show. The sex scenes definitely have to go though, so uncomfortable.
Claire Danes does more for me, but they're both nice to look at.I was pretty pissed after episode 6 and ready to call it quits too. I mean really, the CIA agent is fucking the suspected terrorist??? She acts like such a dumb bitch, and doesn't even come close to portraying what an actual veteran CIA agent might act like. No professionalism whatsoever. And I don't really care for Brody either. His character just annoys me for some reason. Or maybe it's the actor.
But anyhow, I actually enjoyed this last episode, and it looks like things could get exciting. Mandy Patinkin is pure awesome, and the main reason I wanted to watch the show in the first place. And Morena Baccarin (Brody's wife) is one hot mamma. I remember having a huge crush on her when she played on Stargate SG-1.
Am I the only one noticing the major Sal holes in each episode? The way hes always reacted to spying on Brody. The idea to move to India. The razor incident. The failed polygraph the first time. The desire to go get the woman terrorist himself. Sure there are reasons they all are legit and check out but they are still possibile clues that he is involved. He could have shown her a picture of whats his face to draw to get the heat off of Brody.
I definitely noticed this, but I can't decide if there's substance to it or the writers are just trying to keep us off balance.
