Nothing mind-blowing, but just thought I'd mention it. In SoCal Rite-Aids you can purchase a season pass for Magic Mountain for $55 (I believe it works at any 6-Flags theme park too, correct me if wrong), this comes with a coupon book that give you a free friend admission, and a free parking.
$55 Season Pass
-$20 Sell the friend pass to a friend
-$ 8 Parking
-----------------
$27 for a whole year of Magic Mountain!

There are other coupons in the book, some are pretty good too.

If you know anyone that works at a military base, ask them to buy it from their Special Services ticket office, and you'll likely get it even cheaper.

I did a single visit to 6 Flags over Dallas last summer, and a $40 ticket cost me $25.

actually, i believe that Great America is a rival of 6 Flags--isn't owned by Paramount? and in socal, if you call it 6 Flags, people will look at you weird. it was called "Magic Mountain" before 6 Flags bought them. so technically they are called "6 Flags at Magic Mountain" but true citizens of southern california will refer to her by the moniker "magic mountain."

I am going to Magic Mountain for Spring break soon. I think I'll give the Rite Aid down in Valencia a call to confirm this.

Uh...your math is a little off. While Parking may be free, you do not get the $8. What you get instead is the reduction of the $8 from the $8 you would have paid for ur parking. Thus the total price should actually be $35.

Nope, still a Six Flags park.

There is a Great America in San Jose, CA that is owned by Paramount. Mayhap that is what yodayoda was referring to?

I live in IL, so I'd love to get a pass that's valid for our Six Flags here, but I've never even been to a Rite-Aid. Do you suppose there's any chance they'd sell something like this over the phone?

24 pack of Coke has a free 6 Flags admission sticker on the outside. A peel off one. I think it is for children only.

You have to show the pass to be able to use the coupons. I dunno how often they check, but they asked for my pass before they let me out of the $8 parking.

Well, yeah, but my point is this. MOST people when they go to Magic MOuntain will pay $8 for parking + $XX for a 1-day pass. When you use this coupon you pay $55 -$20 (selling free pass to friend). So $35 = $8 +$XX therefore $XX = $27 To me it's akin to getting a gift certificate with purchase, yeah you don't get cashe in hand, but if you use it, it saves you that $8 so it's like cash in hand.

Can anyone confirm/deny if this pass works at all 6-Flags? Also there's a free pass to Hurricane Harbor (the water amusment park) in the coupon book.
