Compaq rebate status inquiry

While I've not yet actually received anything, this link gives me a warm fuzzy that I should be getting it quite soon. All you need to provide is your phone number and it'll show status on each (in case, like me, you bought for the fambly, etc.).

I mailed mine on August 28. The website shows that my application was received on September 5, and I should allow 4 to 6 weeks for the check - well within the 8 week window.

On the subject, I would like to give Compaq and thumbs up for their excellent technical support of thie product. On three calls, all made late at night or weekends, a friendly, technically competent CSR resolved my concern.

This is DEFINATELY one of the top 10 hot deals of the year for me (99.99 in-store, minus 50 MIR).
