Hot deal? Spalding Infusion Basketball

Saw the Infusion basketball at Sports Chalet for 24.99. First time i've seen this ball on sale. Its the one with the built in pump from that kobe commercial.

My friends bought this ball a week or two ago. I don't know if its just theirs, but the skin around the pump area is starting to peel away. We have played outdoors with it about 7-8 times, but it is an outdoor/indoor ball.

24.99 is a good price compared to the regular price...
BUT this ball sucks man. it's too hard, and the pump is only one way, that is, it only pumps air in. in order to let air out (in case you over pump) you need to use a pump, which in turn defeats the whole purpose of the "built in pump"

id say not to buy it, but its your call.

yeah, it gets poor marks from me also. My kids broke the flimsy pump plunger within 1 month.

iz more gimmic than anything else; 25 bux can getcha a good composite leather indoor/outdoor bball that'll last -- spend it that way.
