In the September Issue of "Costco Connection" D-Link AirPlus 2.4 GHz Wireless Router and Cardbus Adapter Kit for Laptop PCs (DI-614+/DWL-650+) at $30 off. It's on their site for $179.99(which is before $30 off). I also checked on D-Link website and saw that there's a $20 rebate for this combination making the total price for this package = $129.99?
At CompUSA: NetGear wireless router (MR314) for $150 ($30 off the original price) and you get the pcmcia Wireless adapter (MA401) for free! ($90-$60 instant rebate-$30 mail in rebate)
I think Amazon had a one day only sale on this router for $120-$20 mail in rebate on Friday.
The D-link router and card looks cool in it's aluminum like casing, but I've just used the Netgear stuff before and they performed solid. I just installed the router and the card in my laptop and it's soooo cool! Nothing beats surfing the web while you're dropping bombs on the toilet! hehe. Anyone know if one of the router/card combo is better than the other? This is sooo cool since my business school utilizes wireless networking capabilities! No more lugging around a 15' cat 5 cable in my laptop case.
