No worries. I found an easy work around. It appears the analog ports on the motherboard are not working for sound, but my USB headset is working just fine so I am all set for a long time! Thanks for your help Islndboi!

My Vista64 installed all the right drivers automatically and without issue. Have you done a Windows Update since installation to get all the latest drivers?

Received mine tonight... I removed the Q6600 from the machine and promptly installed in mine since it was a G0 and overclocked her to 3.93 @ 1.58v. So far so good.

I will be giving my Dad my Q6600 B3 and I will be putting his E6750 in this Dell machine. Then, I might just sell it off. Not sure at this point.

Currently using the monitor and believe it or not, it looks far better than my properly calibrated Samsung 216BW, which had one the best TN panels. I don't hate TN technology because I always view my monitor head on anyway. I honestly can't tell much of difference anyway between IPS or TN other than viewing angle, which again is a moot point for a monitor, IMO.

The hard drive that came with it is a Western Digital 2500AAJS. It specifies that it is two platters, so they must have used 160 per platter stroked design. At any rate, the drive isn't the best, but it isn't bad either.

Just an update here... It runs just fine wit hthe E6750. I uninstalled all the crapware that was on it and it is running really well. My wife will like it.

I really enjoy the monitor...
