i would just ignore the thread, i would not make comments about ones mother or self. Or purposely take out their site. I could care less of peoples opinion of me, my location, or my beliefs. because they are MY beliefs and no-one elses. I don't believe in alot of things people do or believe, but i was taught, "if you have nothing nice to say, say NOTHING at all", and i can see others might not have been taught the same thing. It's all about tolerance, and this is how racial and religious fights begin. My god is better than yours crap, just believe what you want and let him believe what he wants.

What does critisizing Charlotte have to do with critisizing me? Nothing IMHO, i hate Charlotte too. I am only standing up for his RIGHT to believe and post what he wishes, not his beliefs. He has the right to post what he wants and not be personally attacked.

If you were to make a personal attack on me, that's different. I would stand up for myself, but i would never resort to purposely taking out your site, or name calling. I would try to figure out your issue with me and resolve it in a civilized manner. If that could not happen, i would move on. But you purposely took out the site, and others are openly name calling and "stereotyping" this guy/kid. That is unfair, he may be a nice person. Who cares what his religous beliefs are. I know a few people who believe in satan, they are normal people and you would never know. No tattoos ar piercings. NORMAL looking people, and why must one believe in "god" to be normal anyhow? I do not believe in ANY GOD AT ALL, this somehow makes me not normal?

An informed and educated society listens to all opinions and discusses their differences in a non-combative way. But, it appears some members wish to not only remain ingnorant, but want the rest of the Anandtech community to be ignorant. It's not Ardeaem's job to convince you, it's your job to convince him. If you can do it without name calling, innuendo and or hysteria then you will be respected for your viewpoint by the rest of the informed and open-minded people reading this thread. If you have to resort to name calling then join the rest of the ignorant. I still haven't seen a good argument against the post, at least an argument which effectively expresses a viewpoint with any validity.

The people who are trashing the community member because they don't like the product are also trashing it because it doesn't fit in with their point of view. That sounds a lot like the views Osama Bin Laden uses to rally his people to kill Americans.
