Well I mean if you’re of the opinion that nothing matters and we are essentially in a civil war already than sure. There is no secret pardon though, we can be 100% certain of that.
There's no civil war. We lost a long time ago.

Well as 2020 showed you are an expert at predictions. There's no civil war. We lost a long time ago.
Even if Trump doesn't get indicted, there are scores of others that should be.I think they're very scared to put President's in jail since that just opens up constant prosecution and jailing for vendetta.
Also the thing is with a country being this divided.. how would you convict him in court? Like New York is very liberal but 1 trump guy on a jury hung the jury on a trial with clear evidence and they have to try him all over again.
But I don't think everyone else gets a get out of jail free card.
So Donnie Jr. Eric, Ivanka, and all the other lunatics might get indicted.
Ofcourse its easier to just leave the Union and that's what we should try to do like Scotland and Ireland are trying to do with Great Britain.
He will definitely be indicted and his decision to run again won't matter. Honestly he will probably be indicted multiple times. He won't be indicted.

Talk about a nothing burger of a news article. "I've decided on when to announce my decision to run but I won't say anything just yet"He won't be indicted.

Why won't it matter? There is nothing that says that an indictment will prevent him from running. If he wins he will just order the DOJ to drop any charges, and I won't count Trump out even if under indictment for sedition. Politics have gone crazy and it is basically impossible to predict what will happen in the next 2 years. He will definitely be indicted and his decision to run again won't matter. 🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑🐑He won't be indicted.

Yes, if he somehow won again he would be immune from prosecution. So? When I said it won't matter I meant him declaring his candidacy will not save him from indictment. If anything I think he has the calculus backwards that it increases his odds of indictment. If he wins he will just order the DOJ to drop any charges, and I won't count Trump out even if under indictment for sedition. Politics have gone crazy and it is basically impossible to predict what will happen in the next 2 years.
I think the exact opposite - it will push them to prosecute.Trump announcing his candidacy publicly adds to the list of reasons why the current DoJ will not indict him. It won't be "THE" reason, but it will be "A" reason. It will be evaluated against existing DoJ policy of avoiding prosecutions during an active political cycle.
I think the exact opposite - it will push them to prosecute.
All he wants is to remain relevant. Only if media would just stop talking about himTalk about a nothing burger of a news article. "I've decided on when to announce my decision to run but I won't say anything just yet"

I want them to get on with it so we know who’s right. Or so I can make an intelligent post about it and say “I told you so”, but only after I know which way it’s going to go.I know you do.
I mean it would be kind of a weird thought process to not prosecute the former president for attempting a coup out of concern that he might be the president again. (And would presumably attempt more coups)I know you do.
Weird thought process is what Washington DC does. I think Trump learned his lesson.I mean it would be kind of a weird thought process to not prosecute the former president for attempting a coup out of concern that he might be the president again. (And would presumably attempt more coups)
That’s different though - when Susan Collins said that she was lying.Weird thought process is what Washington DC does. I think Trump learned his lesson.

I mean, you're not wrong, but it's also kind of a weird thought process in an impeachment proceeding to effectively perform a jury nullification, à la "we know he did these things, we just don't care."I mean it would be kind of a weird thought process to not prosecute the former president for attempting a coup out of concern that he might be the president again. Just saw this. Watch, above the law too.is this good? /S
