I didn't ask what has been covered by others, the media, or what conservatives have claimed. I asked YOU specifically what they are going to impeach him on that has any legitimacy. Translation: I wanted you to list what YOU believed to be legitimate reason to impeach Biden on.

Bold Type: I did, legitimate reasons is exactly what I am/was asking for, as all that is out there are made up illegitimate reasons (aka bullshit). But you answered it, indirectly, there are no legitimate reasons. I am also very aware that impeachment doesn't require legitimacy, which is why I never asked if, or implied that it did.

Your response indicates you agree, that there is no legitimate reason to impeach Biden. It highlights the difference between Trump being impeached twice, and the revenge impeachment(s) of Biden that may happen if the republican's regain the house. All Biden impeachments will do is further prove that the republican party is the party of clowns.
While it’s true that any Republican impeachment of Biden (at least as of this time) would be bullshit and would fail I think the unfortunately predictable response of the media will be to say ‘both sides have pursued impeachments that some describe as partisan’.

And that will be the whole point of it all, to build the 'BothSides!' argument because it has turned out to be an extremely effective argument politically since most people already believe that both sides are just as bad.

Seems that "legitimacy" is a pretty odd place to get stuck, when we both agree it literally doesn't matter. I was initially stating what will happen, precisely because legitimacy does not matter.

I know we had this hurricane down in Florida, but delaying the latest hearing did not set well. It just adds to the committees lack of credibility. It makes the hearings appear less important, and more as political revenge. At this point few really care, and still we have the two sides. The pro-Trump, and the anti-Trump.
No, that will not change regardless of this or any committee.
The anti-Trump will reset their DVR, and the pro-Trump will simply ignore it all.
But really, any delay with the hearing looks bad.
Yea. Going on with the hearing during a major catastrophe would play really well. Are you serious?

Excuse me, where did I say it doesn't matter? Just because under our current political climate, legitimacy doesn't matter to those in office to impeach, does not mean I am saying it doesn't matter. Because it does matter. That's the whole point, legitimacy has to become critically important. The only way it will become important, is by bringing it to the front and center and reminding people of it. Not just continuing to ignore it and sweeping it under the rug.. Until you and everyone else realizes this, our country will continue to self destruct.

People are like a live frog in a pot of water.. as the heat is turned up, the frog looks around, think it's getting warm, but everything is the same as usual, so it doesn't matter. Pretty soon, what they thought didn't matter, really won't matter, because they are dead because they didn't recognize what did matter, resulting in them getting cooked.. It's the same story here.. people think oh, not having legitimacy in impeachments and such is normal, so it doesn't matter if there is legitimacy or not. Pretty soon, The United States, will be no more, because we didn't recognize that legitimacy does matter resulting in the death of our country as we know it.

Legitimacy is part of accountability, or rather accountability is a central element of legitimacy. Saying legitimacy doesn't matter is the same as saying accountability doesn't matter. Yes, it appears it doesn't matter in the current political climate.. but it won't change until we do something about it.

Committee isn't too happy with Eastman..

There's probably a lot more damning emails in store.

GOP will totally write this off as a political stunt prior to the midterms. I know there's still a lot more information out there, and unfortunately much of it will likely never see the light of day. But the hearings have served their purpose. I think it is better to have a closing argument and adjourn the committee vs. trying to keep things going even after the midterms.
