there is a sale at compusa on belkin routers (10/100) and i want to get one. But i am curious about the qualities of belkin product. Can anyone tell me if its a good brand to buy?
I'm running a Belkin 10/100 3-port + uplink with wireless and it works ok. I have also used SMC, Netgear and Linksys and there isn't any big difference. The SMC has a print server and that is a nice addition.
I have been using the Belkin 5-port router for about 6 months. I havn't had any problems with it. It was a little bit easier to setup than my old Linksys one (but my linksys one was a pwice of cake too) I say go for it. I don't think there is much differece between routers in the sub $100 range other than some of them have print servers and little things like that and if you don't need it than the Belkin will do just fine.
They're doing fine thanks for asking! J/K any router with a firewall/NAT and a web browser interface will suit the home user. The rest you just have to read up on-line.
